-Members of the department have recently re-mounted the "Welcome to Frankville" sign on the South end of town.  Thanks for a job well done!

-Town meeting Wednesday April 29th at 7pm.  Meeting will be held at the Frankville Fire Station Community Room.  All residents are urged to attend. 

-Frankville is again attempting to establish a town water system.  Articles with information on the cause have appeared in both Decorah and Cedar Rapids newspapers.  USDA has approved a grant for funding of up to 45% of the project.  Residents may also be eligable for up to 75% funding, but need more returns with income surveys.  Currently residents are costing themselves more money!

Water Update

Frankville now qualifies for the maximum grant through the USDA which could be up to 75%.  We are finally to the engineering phase of the project.  Tekippe Engineering in West Union will hopfully have a proposal done by next week.
